DEPARTMENTAL INDUCTION FOR NEWLY APPOINTED OFFICIALS
A Compulsory Induction Programme for newly appointed employees in the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management is currently underway and facilitated by manager responsible for Human Resource Utilisation and Capacity Development, Mr. Kalodi Mogotsi. Compulsory Induction Programme (CIP) is a mandatory training program for new public service employees in South Africa.
It is aimed at orientating the new officials to public service, its values, and their roles, ultimately contributing to effective service delivery. The CIP is linked to the confirmation of probation and pay progression for eligible employees.The program focuses on introducing new employees to the ethos of Batho Pele (People First), the Constitution, key legislation, and the administrative framework of the public service. The workshops are going to be conducted to all new employees at the districts.
