Letsema in Huhudi

Common crimes such as rape and mugging have become prevalent in Huhudi. The area between the township and the CBD has become a popular crime hotspot.
With an influx of these crimes, the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management has taken steps to mitigate the problem by de-bushing and clearing out the area. The initiative is in partnership with amongst other stakeholders the Department of Social Development, Public Works and Roads, Naledi Local Municipality and SAPS.
The Department continues its efforts, through partnerships to ensure community safety is a key priority within the North West Province.
