POTCHEFSTROOM: 18 October 2023 – The MEC for Community Safety & Transport Management and the Provincial Commissioner of North West, Lieutenant General Sello Kwena, will launch the Provincial Safer Festive Season Operations, following the National launch by the Minister of Police, General Bheki Cele on 13 October 2023 in Khayelitsha, Western Cape.
Festive Season operations will run from 15 October 2023 to 31 January 2024, in conjunction with Operation Shanela.
The Provincial Festive Season Operations Launch will be officiated by the MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management, Mr JS Lehari.
