North West MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management Wessels Morweng doing a walkabout at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand.
MEC Morweng is attending the Smarter Mobility Africa Summit, where he met the Minister of Transport Barbara Creecy as well as his counterpart in Gauteng, MEC for the Department of Roads and Transport, Kedibone Diale- Tlabela.
The conference is being attended by stakeholders in the Transport industry to showcase their capacity but also look into ways of introducing new technologies.
