Officials of the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management today have joined other sector stakeholders in Mahikeng to make inputs to the National Household Travel Survey of 2020.
The National Department of Transport together with the Department of Statistics South Africa is rolling out a series of workshops that will assist in determining travelling patterns and perceptions that are unique to the North West Province.
The rigorous stakeholder consultation process will establish whether changes need to be made to the data collection tool in its current form. Furthermore, it will also be helpful in informing policy decisions.
