Department’s senior staff appeared before the Portfolio Committee

Senior Management staff together with Portfolio Committee

MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management Wessels Morweng with the Department’s senior staff appeared before the Potfolio Committee today to appraise the committee on the Department ‘ Annual performance report.The Committee led by Honourable Sonakile were impressed by the work done so far and urge the Department to continue with its strides under the stewardship of the energetic MEC Wessels who Morweng who of late is called Mr Arrest aresst and arrest after his robust approach to tackle crime. MEC Morweng also highlighted his frustration on public works slow progress in dealing with the management of infrastructure and their snail pace on their intervention mechanism.
