The FWG held its quarterly meeting where key stakeholders working together with the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management in the freight logistics discuss issues related to freight within the province.
All three Spheres of government and private sector were encouraged to use the platform to share challenges, achievements, policies and any other issues relating to the freight logistics industry.
The meeting was held on December the 7th 2023 in Mahikeng . Mogotsi Padi chaired the meeting, outlining and discussing important issues associated with the FWG.
“ pollution is an arising matter due to carbon engine vehicles and as of which to omit this matter , we now need to move towards cleaner technology of which is the electric vehicles” Further presented by Ms Bopang Khutsoane in her electric vehicles regulations framework presentation from the Transport Department .
The meeting resulted to a favourable outcome as all issues were scrutinised and bent on.
