Transport Management Unit embarked on enlightening the officials of Community Safety and Transport Management from Bojanala District about the departmental Transport Policy of 2022.
The policy regulates the effective, efficient, economical, and transparent use of departmental pool vehicles.
Mr Jabulane Ngwenya gave a thorough presentation in order to equip officials using pool vehicles the do’s and don’ts of the policy. This will assist them to be conversant with policy expression of the misusing state vehicles and petrol cards. Through this workshop, the results of misusing state vehicles and petrol cards.
Officials were made aware of crimes that they may commit without noticing due to verbal orders from their seniors, which were not authorized by Head of Department. Officials were encouraged to inspect vehicles before utilizing them. Having unauthorized passengers and goods goes against the policy.
