MEC Morweng encourage students to follow careers in the transport industry

MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management Wessels Morweng encouraged students to follow careers in the transport industries as there are many opportinities in that sector.

MEC Morweng who was the guest speaker at the Transport and Careers EXPO at University of North West,Vanderbijlpark Campus, called on all students to not be discouraged by their backround to reaching their goals in life.

MEC Morweng who comes from the tiny village called Moshana near Zeerust credit his parents who have been pillar of strength in his upbringing.He also encouraged students to use all the opportunities created by the government mostly to young people as they are the future and without education life will be very dificult.

”Our province is the only one without funtional passenger lifting airport.We have two airports being Pilanesburg and GD Montshioa and we are making sure that they are funtional in the near future, so indeed young people will get opportunities within that industry”concluded MEC Morweng.

MEC Morweng who studied at the University but at Mafikeng Campus said he regard his invite as guest speaker as a home coming and thank the institution for giving him the opportunity to plant the seed of hope to students at the University.
