MEC Tsotso Tlhapi Hosts First Senior Management Committee Meeting in Rustenburg

MEC for the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management, Mme Tsotso Tlhapi today convened her first Departmental Management Committee (DMC) meeting at Royal Marang Hotel in Rustenburg.

The meeting primarily focused on strengthening service delivery and performance. Among the key strategic issues discussed were expediting of ongoing projects, unblocking of critical service delivery backlogs, and most importantly setting strategic direction and key service delivery priorities for the Department.

Setting the tone, MEC established expectations for hard work, teamwork and implored the management to double their efforts in ensuring that services are served on time.

“We are gathered as a collective, and my key role here at the department is to ensure that policies are fully implemented on time, rightfully and I believe that I am with the right team to ensure service delivery.

Most of you have been here for some time and I trust that you are going to assist me and work together. I want us to trend with good work,” concluded MEC Tlhapi.

The MEC is set to have one-on-one sessions with programmes, meet and greet with staff of the department in all districts.
