NGAKA MODIRI MOLEMA DISTRICT COMMEMORATES EASTER

The Department of Community Safety and Transport Management, in collaboration with various stakeholders, organized a spiritual uplifting meaningful Easter commemoration at the North West University Chapel in Mahikeng today .

The event which was led by Chaplain Cynthia Reetseng brought together community leaders and officials to reflect on the significance of Easter. During the gathering, various Pastors engaged in a powerful narration of the seven words Jesus uttered at the cross, a profound reflection on faith, sacrifice and redemption.

Ms. Innocentia Selomane, Deputy Director of the Human Resource Integrated Employee Health and Wellness Unit (IEHW), ignited the spirit of unity, saying, “Today, we gather here to commemorate Easter – a powerful reminder of Christ’s impact on our lives. We stand as ambassadors of the government, the community, our families, and the greater church community . In this moment, we unite our voices to commemorate the sacrifice and triumph of Jesus Christ, embracing the values of love, hope and resilience that define us,” said Ms. Selomane.
